But none of the small lenses have the optical resolution for 42 megapixel camera if you check DXO. Storage space can be solved by losslessly compressing the Raws, that actually makes the 42MP files smaller than uncompressed Raws from a 24MP sensor. You have to rig it up like with a RRS BRX1 and a good tripod etc etc. The thumb grip makes the camera comfortable to hold, but it’s expensive and gets in the way of some vital controls. The RX1-series cameras have terrible manual focus controls. But for others, they are deal breakers. It has hard stops, a limited turn radius, a finger tab to approximate a focus distance setting without so much as glancing at the camera or lens, and responds so quickly to user input that you'd swear it was mechanical.
